At the beginning of 2014 we carried out a Solar Photovoltaic (PV) installation in Sutton, Ely producing an estimated annual system output of 3,191 kWh of energy.
Our excited customer has just sent over his figures (1st April 2015) for the first year since registering for the Government incentive scheme – the Feed-in Tariff. His figures are as follows:
Estimate output for whole year = 3,191 kWh
Actual Electricity produced = 3,454 kWh ( = 108.24% of estimate)
Payment received or due, including export payments = £596.69 (Estimate = £549.49)
“We have earned and/or saved in excess of £835 during the last 12 months, so on our initial investment the payback will be just over 7 years! We are delighted with these results, thank you, Terry”.
