Our customer, Mr Bland contacted us in spring 2014 with a keen interest in a Solar panel installation and wanted to find out more. We invited him to our office in Sutton where we showed him a real solar panel and explained the product and system in more detail.
Mr Bland contacted a few different companies for quotes but decided to go with us as we are a local company with extensive knowledge and experience in renewable installations. Mr Bland was pleased to read a range of our case studies with customer recommendations. Mr Bland was particularly satisfied that we install Sunrise Solar Panels who have a fantastic reputation and warranty.
We had several meetings with Mr. Bland and were able to offer him further advice, information and reassurance.
We installed 16 panels, 12 on the bungalow roof and 4 on the garage roof. We also installed a solar iBoost; this is an immersion heater controller that uses excess generated electricity to heat water for free. The intelligent wireless system adjusts its power control with the varying household consumption ensuring only excess PV power is being diverted to heat your hot water.
Mike and Will completed the installation over 3 days with the help of our two apprentices. Mr Bland is delighted with his new solar photovoltaic (PV) installation and is enjoying cheaper energy bills.
Following the install, Mike helped Mr Bland to complete his application to apply for the Government Scheme – the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) which will reward Mr Bland financially for the electricity he generates and for electricity exported to the grid.
