Project details:
Brent and Neil from Delta Project Management contacted us to see if we could put forward a proposal for heating and plumbing works for a large self-build property in St. Neots. Brent explained that their customer, Mike had been involved in the building industry for many years and had extensive knowledge of property development. Mike and his wife Anne had a clear vision of what they wanted to achieve and how they wanted the property function.
Our proposal for two 9kW Panasonic T-Cap air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery (MVHR), solar photovoltaic (PV) panels (for electricity) and bathrooms was selected.
Throughout the installations we worked closely with the other trade companies on site to ensure the project ran smoothly. The Panasonic heat pumps were installed in a purpose-built plant room and provide the heating and hot water for the property through the under-floor heating system. The solar panels provide most of the energy to run the heat pumps, providing a very economically heating solution. The mechanical ventilation with heat recovery system was installed throughout the property, providing fresh and filtered air in every room.
Mike and Anne have been living in their beautiful home for almost a year now and are delighted that their house is kept at a comfortable temperature all year round and are pleased with how well all the different technologies work. Mike and Anne also enjoy receiving their annual payments from the Governments Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) for the air source heat pump and the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) for the solar panels.
We have enjoyed working with Mike, Anne and Delta Project Management on this project and look forward to working with them again in the future.
Testimonial:
“Having been involved in the building services industry for many years myself, Eco Installer were successful in tendering for our large self-build house project. They were responsible for the complete design and installation of the air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, mechanical ventilation system, PV panels and all plumbing and sanitary ware installation and drainage systems.
All of the works were well co-ordinated with other trades on site and Eco Installer works were carried out in a competent and professional manor. The management and installation staff are a credit to the company.” Mike
