Case Study:
Tony had needed to replace a boiler that was old and on its last legs and, like many other people, was keen to do his bit for the planet and switch to a greener, more energy-efficient option for his new system.
Tony approached us after seeing another job we’d worked on in his area and wanted to discuss his options for a new system – in particular, an air source heat pump and some solar panels to make best use of daylight, to provide him with a much more cost-effective energy solution. We were able to discuss the options available to Tony and helped him to decide on which heat pump would be best suited to his needs, along with the solar panels he’d been keen to get installed and some new radiators which best suited the type of system he’d chosen.
The project was completed within the planned timescales, and we were further able to assist Tony with his application to the Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme, a government incentive designed to promote the installation of heat pumps.
Not only does Tony now have a more cost-effective system for his own benefit – both through the efficiency it provides and his use of the incentive scheme – but he’s also got peace of mind that the system he’s using is much kinder to the planet, therefore preserving the environment for generations to come.
Customer Testimonial from Tony:
“We needed to replace our 38-year-old gas boiler and wanted something greener. We approached Eco Installer about a heat pump and adding solar PV after we had seen another installation they had completed locally. We found the team very helpful and professional, and, despite various supplier difficulties, the installation was up and working within the planned timescale. We have found the company easy to work with and they have since guided us through our application to the Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme.”
