Case Study:
Ann and Gerry had an original oil heating system in place which ran off a Rayburn when they contacted Eco Installer to discuss potential new systems for their home.
We were able to advise them on the air source heat pump options available to them, offering them clear, impartial guidance on what systems were best suited to their individual requirements and what would work well in the limited space they had for their new system.
After assessing the old system and discussing potential replacements, we were able to recommend that Ann and Gerry have a 11.2kW Mitsubishi EcoDan Air Source Heat Pump installed as an effective renewable energy source, along with a Slimline Cylinder, which was specifically chosen due to the small space available for fitting.
Additionally, our team was involved in removing the existing Rayburn flue as part of the removal of the old system.
Ann and Gerry were incredibly pleased with the finished results, both in terms of the speed and quality of the service they received, as well as – of course – the efficiency of their brilliant new system! As the property is Grade 2 listed, the project needed planning and listed building consent before it could go ahead. We worked with Ann and Gerry to keep the project planned in our system whilst we waited (several months!) for the approvals so that once permission was granted there was no delay in starting the installation.
