Those THREE HUNDRED installations have helped to lower our local carbon footprint and protect our local environment for future generations!
From the very first domestic Solar PV installation in Sutton 8 years ago, to welcoming our 300th customer in Eltisley this week, our company has grown to meet the increasing demand for renewable energy. Today our projects team manage an average of 100 concurrent projects and of those, 10 further Air Source Heat Pumps will be commissioned before Christmas.
As ‘WE’ as a Company and ‘US’ as a Nation, move away from Fossil Fuels, it is apparent that many more renewable installations will be needed and on current rate of customers joining us we hope to reach the next 300 customers in a quarter of the time.
Quality, Efficiency and Ease of Control are what make our systems stand-out from the crowd and our Solar PV, Biomass and Heat pump renewable installations meet the high standards required by the MCS Accredited Scheme (formerly Microgeneration Certification Scheme). Through our company MCS certification our renewable customers benefit from the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI); a government financial incentive – that is only available to join up to March 2021 – that can reimburse up to the entire cost of a basic heat pump installation in just 7 years.
Whilst reaching 300 renewable heating installations has given us a lot of pleasure, our engineers haven’t stopped there. Over the last 8 years we have completed nearly 2000 other installations including high-end bathrooms, log burners, mechanical ventilation heat recovery systems, whilst still finding time to attend to the odd dripping tap here or a sudden water catastrophe there.
We are proud to have also provided 11 heating and plumbing apprenticeship placements, 3 of whom remain with us today and are key members of our qualified engineering team, installing and supporting some of our latest renewable heating projects.
For the first time in our company’s history we are excited to have created an opportunity for an Office Apprenticeship to join the company to help with the administration and management of our projects.
